Students in our TJ Self-Paced Prep Course can submit any combination of five SPS and PSE responses for individualized review.
What to Expect
Feedback that’s actionable.
Students receive a Google Doc containing their submitted responses, a checklist showing which elements of successful SPS and PSE responses students have included, and actionable, line-by-line comments. Feedback identifies strengths and explains where students can develop their ideas, clarify their reasoning, or add meaningful detail.
Our goal is to help students understand how to improve both current and future drafts. Every response is reviewed by an experienced Principia Education TJ Prep instructor, not AI.

How Feedback Works
Submit online. Receive real instructor feedback.
Submit your work through Principia’s online platform. Your instructor’s comments will identify strengths and specific next steps for improving your responses. Review of subsequent revisions is not included.

After purchasing, students receive an email with access to a dedicated classroom on Principia’s online testing platform.

Submit
Students submit links to their completed practice tests or individual responses, depending on their purchase.

Review
An instructor reviews the submission and returns feedback in a shared Google Doc, typically within five business days. See the winter schedule below.

Plan ahead for winter break.
Principia’s winter break runs from December 19, 2026, through January 2, 2027.
Submit by December 14

To guarantee feedback before the January 9 TJ admissions assessment.
Submit all completed work you want reviewed by the applicable deadline. Submissions are reviewed in the order received. Turnaround may exceed five business days during winter break.

Choose Complete Test Feedback if your student has already completed at least one of our full-length practice tests for review of all four SPS responses and the PSE response.
Students in our TJ Prep Self-Paced Course can choose Individual Response Feedback for review of five responses in any SPS/PSE combination. The course already includes feedback on its full-length test; these purchases provide additional review.

Yes. Our Five Practice Tests package is available without course enrollment and includes instructor feedback on one complete test. You can purchase Complete Test Feedback for additional reviews. Feedback is available for tests completed on Principia’s platform.

Feedback is typically returned within five business days. Turnaround may be longer during winter break.
Submit completed work by December 14 for guaranteed feedback before winter break, or by January 3 for guaranteed feedback before the January 9 TJ admissions assessment.

Principia’s winter break runs from December 19 to January 2. To guarantee feedback prior to winter break, please submit any tests or prompts by December 14. Submissions entered after December 14 will be graded in the order they are submitted, but we cannot guarantee the typical feedback turnaround of 5 business days over winter break.

Each purchase covers one review of each submitted response. A second review of a revised response is not included.

Students can access their practice tests and feedback classroom through February 5, 2027. Any unused feedback reviews expire on that date.
To guarantee feedback before the January 9 TJ admissions assessment, submit completed work by January 3.
