Sahar

Sahar began teaching while in college, where she led classes to provide supplementary instruction to other students. After graduating, she received a competitive education fellowship to improve standardized test scores of students in an inner-city high school. Sahar went on to organize with a grassroots group and established a free tutoring program to support working-class immigrant families. She is deeply passionate about fostering the potential of all youth, who she believes are the main drivers of social transformation and progress.
