Praise

Praise graduated from Tufts University with a bachelor’s in Biopsychology, where her honors thesis examined the impostor phenomenon among Black students in introductory STEM courses. At Tufts, she worked as a Chemistry Learning Assistant and Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant. She is now an MD-PhD student at UMass Chan, building on prior NIH clinical research in pediatric obesity and pursuing interests in women’s health and epidemiology. She is passionate about equity in education, and mentors 50+ premed women online to help them gain admission to medical school. Outside the classroom, she’s a tea enthusiast who loves cooking, concerts, travel, and creating on social media.
