Doug holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a Minor in Mathematics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute as well as a master's degree from George Mason in Interdisciplinary Studies. He channeled his growing concern for the environment while working with NASA on projects through both the Langley Research Center in Shenandoah National Park as well as the Goddard Institute for Space Studies. Over the years, Doug has cultivated a passion for learning, which has inspired him to work with hundreds of students of all ages to help further their own knowledge and passion in the STEM fields.
